IMS-501

IMS-501 is a Granitic Blank reference material (<6mm) specifically designed for quality control in the geochemical analysis of geological samples. It is an engineered granite-based material intended to monitor laboratory sample preparation performance and test for cross contamination, particularly for precious metals like Au, Pt, and Pd.

Key Features:

Low Precious Metal Content: 

• Au: <1 ppb 
• Pd: 0.7 ppb (±0.14 SD) 
• Pt: 1.2 ppb 

Comprehensive Geochemical Characterization: 

• Major, minor, and trace elements analysed via XRF, sodium peroxide fusion/ICPOES/MS, and 25g fire assay/ICPMS. 
• Packaging: Supplied in 1kg sealed plastic bags for ease of use and homogeneity. 
• Validity: 5 years from certification date (20th July 2025).
