CrushedCRM™ – Pre-Mixed tests the pulverisation step in the PAL process. This means CrushedCRM™ are pulverised and leached in the method like a routine sample.
Crushed CRMs™ are manufactured with gold disseminated within each particle and the right particle size distribution, . This means that the gold is leached over time, unlike pulverised gold CRMs, which will leach very quickly as the gold is already liberated.
Samples by nature are heterogeneous. We have designed Crushed CRM™ – Pre-Mixed to exhibit similar heterogeneity characteristics.
PAL CRMs are manufactured to contain internal bag (within-unit) heterogeneity. The high level of homogeneity between bags (within batch) is maintained by our proprietary blending technology.
