IMS-543
IMS-543 is a crushed iron ore certified reference material (CRM), sourced from IMS stockpiles, Western Australia, and certified in accordance with ISO 33405:2024 and ISO 17034:2016. This CRM is specifically designed for quality control (QC) monitoring of sample preparation, sub-sampling, and subsequent XRF/TGA analysis of crushed iron ores.

- Moderate–high iron content (55.29% Fe), suitable for routine crushed ore QC programs.
- Produced via drying (105°C), crushing and screening (≤5mm), followed by homogenisation to ensure batch uniformity.
- Inter-laboratory characterised using 10 independent laboratories.
- Packaged in 2kg sealed plastic bags.
- Valid for 5 years from certification date when stored in dry conditions.
