Pulverised Magnetite Ore Concentrate
IMS-586 is a pulverised magnetite concentrate Certified Reference Material (CRM) prepared from commercial magnetite concentrate and certified in accordance with ISO 17034:2016 and ISO 33405:2024. The CRM is specifically intended for monitoring and testing the accuracy and precision of XRF and TGA (LOI) analysis, and is suitable for quality control programs within minerals and mine-site laboratories.

- Certified concentrations for major and trace constituents including Fe, SiO₂, Al₂O₃, TiO₂, Mn, CaO, P, S, MgO, K₂O, Na₂O, Cu, Ni, Pb, V and Zn, together with LOI1000.
- High-grade magnetite concentrate containing 70.38% Fe, with low concentrations of trace elements.
- Additional informational values are provided for As, Ba, Cl, Co, Cr, Sn, Sr, Zr, FeO and laser particle size parameters (D50, D80 and D90).
- Prepared by drying at 105°C, followed by multi-stage pulverisation, size classification and homogenisation.
- Supplied in 1kg press-sealed plastic jars, with 10g sachets available upon request for blind laboratory submissions.
- The certificate is valid for 10 years from the date of original issue. The material should be stored in a cool, dry location, mixed by shaking before first use, and resealed after opening.
