Pulverised Iron Ore goethite-hematite, 1kg jar
PBS-28 is a high-goethite iron ore certified reference material (CRM), sourced from the Pilbara region of Western Australia and certified in accordance with ISO 11459 and ISO Guide 35. This CRM is specifically designed for quality control (QC) of XRF and TGA analysis, with exceptional characterization of hydrated iron minerals.
Key Features
- Certified concentrations for major elements (Fe, SiO₂, Al₂O₃) and trace components.
- Exceptionally high goethite content (66% by XRD) with 15% hematite, ideal for hydrated ore analysis.
- Produced via multi-stage crushing, milling (p95@53µm), and homogenization.
- Supplied in 1kg press-sealed plastic jars, with 10g sachets available upon request for blind laboratory submissions.
- Stable under normal storage conditions when sealed.
