Independent Mineral Standards (IMS) has released a new crushed blank reference material (PBS-154), available in 1kg lots.
This blank reference material is a basalt material, crushed to -20mm for use in testing sample preparation where diamond core and rock samples require primary crushing prior to pulverization. This material has a confirmed Au content less than 1ppb. Whole-rock analysis, including base metals, is also available.
A – 5mm crushed blank material is purchasable from stock (PBS-33) to complement this material.
