Independent Mineral Standards (IMS) recently teamed up with Independent Laboratory Supplies (ILS), a global procurement solutions provider that consolidates and ships laboratory equipment and consumables worldwide.
ILS now supplies Independent Mineral Standards’ complete range of pulverised and crushed gold, iron ore and bauxite standards, as well as specialised and custom CRM services, to mines and laboratories throughout Africa, Europe and Asia.
This also allows IMS to receive increased availability of CRMs and the logistical convenience of purchasing CRMs under a single purchase order to ILS as part of their regular laboratory consumables and provision.
“The arrangement with ILS will provide our clients with the availability of quality-assured CRMs wherever they are in Africa, Europe or Asia,” says Independent Mineral Standards General Manager John Carter. “The arrangement covers access to ILS’s extensive warehousing and dispatch facilities – greatly expanding our ability to service the mining and laboratory markets in a way that’s fast and convenient for them.”
